The First International Church Of The Web

Ordination Information Page

The First International Church Of The Web is happy to legally ordain any member who has accepted Christ as his or her personal Savior, and feels called into the Christian Ministry. Ordinations are issued through Saint Luke Evangelical Christian Ministries, the ordaining parent ministry of The First International Church Of The Web. If you are not yet a member of the First International Church of the Web, your first step will be to fill out and submit the Membership/Ordination Application Form below, which includes a field for requesting ordination.

It is the position of The First International Church Of The Web that, since Jesus required no particular schooling or education of his disciples, but only that they answered His call into His ministry, that should also be our own guidelines for ordination.

The Biblical foundations for our beliefs in this matter are the following verses.

Mark 16:15
"Jesus said to them, "Go into all the world and preach the Good News to all creation."

2Timothy 4:2
"Preach the Word; be prepared in season and out of season; correct, rebuke, and encourage - with great patience and careful instruction."

2Timothy 4:5
"But you, keep your head in all situations, endure hardship, do the work of an evangelist, discharge all the duties of your ministry."

With this in mind, The First International Church Of The Web feels it is an honor, indeed, a sacred duty to legally ordain any member in good standing who decides to answer Christ's call into His ministry.

Any member wishing to become a legally ordained minister and did not request ordination at the time of applying for membership needs only to send his/her full name and statement of faith to Brother Dave. Please include "Ordination Request," "Request for Ordination," or similar wording in the subject line of your e-mail, and state also in the e-mail that you're already a member, giving, if possible, their date of membership. The newly ordained member will receive his/her official letter of ordination via e-mail.

This ordination is conferred completely free of charge. It allows the member to legally use the title Reverend, Pastor, or similar title before his or her name, and to perform all standard Christian services, including the rites of marriage and baptism.
