Church Building Rent And Maintenance Fund

Saint Luke Evangelical Christian Ministries is pleased to announce we have leased a building to house our church and its ministries. Thanks to the generous contributions of our members participating in our Church Building Fundraiser, we've been able to rent the building you see here, and signed the lease on Saturday, August 28, 2004. This is a beautiful little brick church building in the traditional cruciform (T) shape. There's a sizable lawn and parking area, and is perfect for all the things we have planned for this ministry, including weekly services, presentations and ceremonies, seminars, and regular office hours.

The sanctuary is well lit and furnished, and seats 80 - 100 people comfortably. There is a kitchen and small dining room area, rooms for offices, and several Sunday School type rooms, and separate Mens and Ladies restrooms. We have a beautiful little church. Dedication and official start of regular services was on September 26, 2004, and weekly services have begun - please visit our church building's website at http://www.saintlukeministries.org for latest information and pictures.

While we're building a local congregation, our local membership remains small, and they cannot possibly pay all the expenses involved in operating our church. Saint Luke's needs to raise a minimum of $1000 a month to cover our basic rent, utilities, and minor maintenance. For this reason, Saint Luke's is asking the members of our internet ministry to help us reach this goal. We have thousands of members around the world, and if even a fraction of those will commit to helping our Building Rent and Maintenance Fund, then we will be able to reach our goal. The chart you see here is a representation of what has been raised thus far this month to meet this goal. None of these monies goes toward salaries or anything of that nature - it's all earmarked specifically to helping pay those expenses mentioned above. Please consider contributing to this cause and helping this ministry meet it's basic monthly expenses. With your help, our little church will grow and touch many, many lives, not only here locally, but around the world.  Thanks to your generous support, St. Luke's has a beautiful new church home. All funds donated to the building fundraiser are earmarked just for the purpose of  maintaining our building, and this chart will be updated regularly to reflect the total given.
